Correct
Poisoning with clonidine can be reversed with naloxone in approximately 50% of cases. Although HCO3 is used as an adjunct in the treatment of ethylene glycol and methanol poisoning, it is the mainstay of treatment of severe TCAD toxicity. Fomipezole is only used in ethylene glycol toxicity, whereas ethanol can be used in the treatment of methanol and ethylene glycol toxicity. Calcium gluconate must be used for the treatment of hydrofluoric acid burns as calcium chloride precipitates in the tissues. Although benzidiazepines can also be used early in organophosphate poisoning, they are not used before atropine, whereas they are considered first line therapy (with adrenaline) in chloroquine poisoning.
