Formula of the day

Modified Brooke - Parkland formula - 3 - 4 mL/kg/percent burn area. Half in first 8 hours, half in following 16 hours.

Medical wisdom

For a lot of things you can either treat aggressively and things will be better by 7 days or treat conservatively and they will be better in a week.
