Additional information regarding Pneumococcal immunisation has been added to the Immunisation page in the Infectious diseases section following recent FDA and TGA approvals. Additional links have been added to the Australian and New Zealand immunisation schedules from this page to ensure readers have immediate access to the most recent recommendations in these countries.

Multiple links to the Vaccination page in the Infectious diseases section have been inserted into the relevant pages to help speed navigation between them.

The Infectious Hepatitis page in the Abdominal disorders section has been updated with additional information on Hepatitis E following the recent NEJM review article on the subject.

Some additions have been made to the Supraventricular tachycardia and some related pages in the Resuscitation section following the publication of an NEJM review on the subject today.

A section on stroke in children and young adults has been added to the Stroke page in the Neurology section.

Additions have been made to the pages Acid Base Disorders, Blood Gas Analysis in the Clinical Skills section and the Arterial Access page in the Resuscitation section.

The Paediatric Head Trauma page in the Trauma section has been substantially revised, including the addition of the CHALICE paediatric head injury rules.

Additional information regarding the management of cardiac arrest in pregnancy has been added to the Advanced Life Support page in the Resuscitation section. Also a link from there to the Post Mortem Caesarean Section part of the Trauma in Pregnancy page in the Obstetrics section has been added.

A variety of additional information about the process of BLS / ACLS and Defibrillation have been added to the Life Support and Cardiac Arrythmias sections of the Resuscitation chapter.

This page in the Trauma section has been revised to include a better description of the populations to which each of the CT head decision rules apply and their strengths and weaknesses. A more detailed description of the New Orleans rule has been added.
