Sarcoidosis

Some information about Löfgren’s syndrome and the diagnostic usefulness of ACE levels in suspected sarcoidosis has been added to the Sarcoidosis page.

Vertigo

The Assessment and management of vertigo page has been extensively revised and a short section on the Alternate cover test for strabismus has been added.

Angioedema

The Angioedema page has been updated, with particular reference to the role of icatibant in the treatment of life threatening angioedema.

Adenosine dose for paediatric SVT

The paediatric dose for SVT has been changed on the Supraventricular tachycardia and Paediatric cardiac arrest pages to be consistent with current ARC guidelines and the Paediatric resuscitation chart in the manual. The adenosine doses recommended are now: initial dose 0.1 mg/kg, repeat dose 0.2 mg/kg, maximum dose 0.3 mg/kg (or 12mg)
