The Other biomarkers in ACS page has been considerably shortened with the removal of information about CK subforms as they no longer have a role to play in assessment. Nice to have something less to know when it seems there is always more!

K+ replacement rate - maximum 40 mmol/hour (0.5 mmol/kg/hour in children). Cardiac monitoring required if > 15 mmol/hour (> 0.4 mmol/kg/hour in children)
