New ACEM curriculum descriptors added

The new ACEM curriculum descriptors relevant to each section of the manual have been added. However the descriptors do not map exactly to the headings in the manual, so some interpretation has been needed. In addition, not all descriptors have been used. Those that appear to be covered by higher level descriptors, overlap significantly with other descriptors, are too general to apply to a specific part of the text and those that are actions expected by trainees in their practice have been excluded. The curriculum domain of health advocacy is broadly applicable across all areas of clinical medicine, but is perhaps most relevant to the areas in the manual about smoking cessation, alcohol harm minimisation, cardiovascular risk modification, poisoning and injury prevention.

As the ACEM curriculum descriptors provide little specific guidance about the relative importance of many areas of non procedural or non investigative medical expertise, the ACEM learning objectives are used when no current curriculum descriptors appear to be applicable.
