The Atrial fibrillation arrhythmia management page has been updated to account for the multiple different recommendations from differing national bodies about the safe time to cardiovert AFib after onset. These different recommendations that are mostly of a weak nature indicate that the optimum strategy is unknown. Many have been developed without Emergency Medicine or primary care input and appear excessively conservative considering the evidence on which they are based.
