A number of treatments that are now considered ineffective or not available in Australia or New Zealand have been removed from the Irritable bowel syndrome page.

Antibiotics in diverticulitis

The Diverticular disease page has been revised with an expanded segment on antibiotics. In particular stating that the quality of evidence for withholding antibiotics in mild disease is insufficient to conclude that antibiotics are of no value.

Hand hygiene

The Infection control page has been updated with some improved wording and organisation about hand hygiene.
