A number of non functioning bookmark links to other relevant parts of the manual have been repaired.

The few instances of the term ‘side effect’ remaining in the manual have been replaced with the term ‘adverse effect’.

A table for suture pull through values has been created from the text on the Sutures page.

The link to the Legacy edition of the manual (the first online version that has not been corrected or updated since 2014) has been removed. The content of the legacy edition is now more than 6 years old and is no longer suitable as a guide to contemporary practice.

The table of contents in version 1 is currently not working properly. What we have tried so far to fix it has not worked, so we will be temporarily removing this version and will reinstall it from scratch this morning.Please use Version 3 whilst we sort this out. 4 ECGs have been added to the ECG Gallery

It has just come to our attention that problems with the online store have prevented payments for subscriptions being processed in the last 24 hours. The problems have been fixed and subscriptions can now be purchased as normal.The issue was caused by a software upgrade.Apologies to anyone who tried to subscribe/renew during that time.

3 more ECGs have been added to the ECG image gallery.

The issues affecting Version 1 have now been resolved. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by the brief down time.

We are currently experiencing some issues with Version 1 and expect it not to be available for the next hour or so whilst we reload the files. In the meantime, Version 3 is still available. Apologies for any inconvenience.

We have done a few things behind the scenes to improve the performance of the website. These will be most noticeable in image rich pages such as the image galleries. Please let us know if you experience any unexpected problems with the website, in case something was not detected by our testing.

A significant number of broken hypertext links have been repaired (especially relating to Infectious diseases). Unfortunately we need to fix quite a few that remain.

21 new images have been added to the Orthopaedics gallery taking the total number of images in the gallery to 132.

8 new CXRs have been added to the CXR gallery, taking the total number up to 134.

18 new ECGs have been added to the ECG gallery and a few duplicates removed. The total number of ECGs in the gallery is now 121.

We have just added our 400th additional image to the manual. We think there are now close to 1000 images in total, but we really haven’t got time to count them all.
