A new chapter called Cardiac output has been created from the Circulatory resuscitation chapter. This has been do improve navigation by making the size of the previous Circulatory resuscitation chapter smaller. Unfortunately this means that any external links (e.g. personal bookmarks) to the affected pages will be broken.

In February this year we passed the 5000 update mark. As most of these updates involve many changes, the total number of improvements is likely well over 20,000!
Updated files for both versions of the book have just been uploaded. You can see the date of the current version of the book at the top of the Authors page.
The links for a couple of cross reference links to PRES from the Headache page were broken, but now have been fixed.
As many of you would already know, the website crashed this morning without warning or explanation, and after working on it all day we have just managed to restore it. A few instances of ‘man’ (meaning mankind) in the text have been replaced with ‘human’ to better describe the intended meaning.
The Version date of the Manual has been added to the Title page in Version 1 and the Author page (top left tab) in Version 2.The Version date is the date the last file was modified in the manual and should be used whenever referencing the manual.
For some reason the Cryoprecipitate heading on the Clotting factor replacement page has gone missing in Version 1. It should appear just after the paragraph on complications of PCC. We promise to find it and return it to its proper place with the next batch of files are uploaded.
We have mistakenly uploaded the latest updated Version 1 where the Version 2 files should be, so Version 2 will be out of action for about 30min whilst we fix this. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
A number of pages in the Toxicology section have had ‘toxicity’ added to their title. Existing bookmarks to these pages will now be broken.
The Mushrooms page has been divided into Amatoxin toxicity and Other mushroom toxicity pages.
The pages in the section on Acute coronary syndromes have been reorganised into a more logical sequence.
A new ECG has been added to the ECG library, taking the total there to 214 ECGs.
6 new ECGs have been added to the ECG gallery bringing the total number of ECGs in the gallery to 213.
About 100 subscripts have been removed from the text to enable better line spacing on the website.
