Version 3 is now Format 2
What was previously known as Version 3 has now been renamed Format 2. We stopped producing a ‘Version 2’ format many years ago but didn’t update the version naming then. The URL for Format 2 has not changed.

What was previously known as Version 3 has now been renamed Format 2. We stopped producing a ‘Version 2’ format many years ago but didn’t update the version naming then. The URL for Format 2 has not changed.
The 2 different online formats of the manual have now been named as ‘formats’ instead of ‘versions’. This may make it clearer that each is just a different format of exactly the same information, rather than each containing different information.
Both versions of the manual have been updated with some new formatting. The tables are now a bit plainer and easier to read. Image and table titles are also now easier to read.
The Macrocytic anaemia page has been updated with information about active vitamin B12 levels
The Normochromic anaemia page has been updated with information about iron therapy in normocytic anaemia.
The Microcytic anaemia page has had a number of other minor updates.

The Subarachnoid haemorrhage page has had some minor updates.
The Investigation of SAH page has been updated with new information about the higher sensitivity of multi-detector CT for the diagnosis of SAH.
