Arrhythmogenic ventricular cardiomyopathy
Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy on the Sudden cardiac death page has been renamed as Arrhythmogenic ventricular cardiomyopathy in acknowledgement that the left ventricle is also commonly involved in severe disease.
Cessation of resuscitation in cardiac arrest
The ALS page has been updated with additional information about when to cease resuscitation in cardiac arrest.
New table of contents structure
Both formats have been updated with a new table of contents structure. The collapsible contents menu now includes an extra layer of headings, making it easier to see the contents on each page.

Format 1 URL change

Version 3 is now Format 2
What was previously known as Version 3 has now been renamed Format 2. We stopped producing a ‘Version 2’ format many years ago but didn’t update the version naming then. The URL for Format 2 has not changed.
Versions are now formats
The 2 different online formats of the manual have now been named as ‘formats’ instead of ‘versions’. This may make it clearer that each is just a different format of exactly the same information, rather than each containing different information.
New formatting
Both versions of the manual have been updated with some new formatting. The tables are now a bit plainer and easier to read. Image and table titles are also now easier to read.
